Please note this is just a request. An appointment will be confirmed after we contact you. Please allow 1-3 business days for a response. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency please contact the animal emergency hospital nearest you, or contact the Mason-Dixon Animal Emergency Hospital at (717) 432-6030.

If your pet is currently up-to-date on their vaccinations, or has received prior veterinary care, please contact your previous veterinarian and request a transfer of medical records prior to your appointment day. This will help avoid any repeat vaccinations and/or testing and will allow us adequate time to review your pets' prior medical history before their appointment. Tips for A Successful House Call Appointment

To make the most of your appointment time:
  • Please have your pet(s) easily accessible at the time of Dr. Hensler's arrival
  • A bathroom or small enclosure may be needed for some pets that may want to run and hide
  • Cat wrangling is not an available service!
  • Please have collars on dogs and a non-retractable leash available
  • We are happy to work outside for dogs in a secured yard when the beautiful Maryland-Pennsylvania weather allows
